4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Murky almost brown with a small tan head. Strong mocha aroma, tons of vanilla and rum, ripe plumb and a hint of vegemite...
Palate is smooth at first, but when the sweetness dissipates, it becomes almost harsh coffee and leaves some dry cocoa feel. Similarly, the flavours start with a sweet chocolate/rum/dark fruit and finish more towards the coffee vegemite thing. Wonderfully complex and drinkable.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Simply the best beer i have tasted. Pours inky black with a dense tan head. Chocolate aroma is reflected in a malty chocolate mid palate that turns creamy on the finish.

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On keg at The Local Taphouse. Pours... Dark, yup. Roasty nose, but surprisingly more coffee notes than chocolate/cocoa. Typical keg paleness. Taste is not nearly as rich as aroma, sadly. I was hoping for more, this one is quite bland.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
From draft at Taps KL. Black color with small tan head. Aroma is light, but hints of chocolate and hops. Flavors of chocolate are very present with malts and light hops. Hits of biscuits and light spices. quite light body, and not to sweet , somewhat watery, but still very nice with flavors of a nice desert beer.
