3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask gravity, Notingham 09. Ruby with red edges and a 1mm rim. Earthy sesame and coffee dregs aroma. Flavour same really; washy with dank sesame, coffee, mocha. Nip of sulphur in the aroma. Blah, blah. Slightly impressive. Bit of an anticlimactic festival closer. Train to catch...

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A Mes rate. Gravicask at Nottingham Beer Festival.
Cloudy chestnut brown with no head. Not sure if I am being influenced by the fact that I am sat in one but it really does smell like a swimming pool. Malty, unrefined sugar and some slight metallic notes are the order of the day. Nothing to see here... move along...
