well. if you have ever had a heineken that was a touch past its drinking date- then you have Holland Import. a simple crisp skunk grass flavour and smell. annoying if you don’t to the pound town thing. but decent for the price. less than 5 bucks with tax. and being a rather refined hobo- i likes this. now, pass me my pickle jar, i have to make a deposit around back....

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is basically fake Heineken and I am OK w/ that. It is a pale lager in the same style as a can of carbonated water. There is maybe a little bit of malt or grain but overall this is very mild, medium bodied w/ moderate carbonation. This is fairly well forgettable but it is at least not foul.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
From 33cl can. Clear yellow / golden color, small white head. Smell malts and cardboard. A bit watery. Tastes like a weak pilsener: malts and just slightly bitter. Not really good.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thanks to Graeme. Pours a clear gold with small white head. The aroma is strong skunk and grass. Thin mouth, corn malt, like a heineken clone, decent.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Another one of these el cheapo lagers popping up in bottleshops down here.
Kinda what you expect from a Euro lager - lowly bittered, some skunky cereally malts, good whack of diacetyl, fizzy carbonation, poor head retention. No more description is really necessary.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This is clearly an economy version of Heineken. The aroma is very thin and mostly grassy. The appearance is a good yellow, akin to Carlsberg and the carbonation is light. The body is light with nothing remarkable flavor wise and there is a hint of hop on the finish but not enough to qualify this beer as a pilsener. It is clean and free of flaws but unexceptional and forgettable.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2010 Can. Watery golden pour, medium foamy head.
Aroma of malts, sugar and syrup, faint hops.
Medium bitter flavour, but watery.
Not very interesting, but okay for a cheap pilsener.

330ml can into glass. White head, sweetish aroma. Slightly bitter. Crisp finish, not bad for a (very) cheap beer.
