Commercial Description:
A lager beer with a 400 year old tradition. Dutch history records our brewery as early as 1620, in the feudal provonce of Ultrecht. When you next come to our pretty market town of Maarssen, please stop to taste this fine, rich beer at its birthplace, but until then, please enjoy a bottle of my favorite brew, Hollande 1620.

Bottle thanks to thirdeye. The smell is very skunky, light struch, and grains. The look is clear, light in color, and has a whitish head. The taste is grains, malts, slight sweet, and blah.

Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. Pours a clear yellow with small fizzy white head. Aroma of malt and skunk. Flavor is malty with some flavor hops. Mouth feel is light body with high carbonation. Overall, well, it’s a lager.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with maybe a hint of orange with a small white quickly disappearing head. It has a little bit of a skunky aroma. This is a very unusual beer. I taste some hop bitterness, some tomato, some buttered toast, some grass and some flowers. It’s hard to believe it tastes like it does. I’m not sure what to make of this one.
