This is pretty good. Nice and smooth with that smooth bavarian malt flavor. Somewhat like molson golden. I disagree with others that think this tastes like a Heineken. I could drink a lot of these on a hot summer day.

tastes like a Heineken or Grolsch. A bit skunky. Tastes as I expected it to for a dutch lager. Wouldn’t buy again but not upset at the purchase

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a golden color with small off white head that diminishes very quickly.Very little aroma but kinda skunky. The taste is wheat grassy with a bitter finish. A very decent pale lager but kinda filling.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a nice golden yellow color with a finger thick white head. Aroma is faint but actually very nice, which was surprising. A light sweet smell of flowers and hay kinda reminds my of the meadow near my aunt’s mountain home. Aroma finishes with a light hop presence. The taste is another surprising aspect. This stuff is great. Starts out with a light sweetness then some wheat (or perhaps corn?) flavors. Fizzy carbonation dances in the mouth and finishes just bitter enough from the hops to make me say "Wow". A quarter down my pint glass and the lacing is still clinging to my glass and the creamy white head is still there. Perfect beer for this incredibly hot day and the best pale lager I’ve had to date.

I was hesitant about trying Holland 1620. It has a great taste and I find it is very refreshing. The flavor of the hops comes out very well.

Picked up a 6 pack @ Ralph’s to appease my friend’s taste for pale lager. First thing that came to me was "this tastes like a watered down Heineken". A middle of the road pale lager, nothing to write home about, but I wasn’t upset at the $6 i spent.

Bottled from Ralph’s. Pours clear golden in color. Aroma is grainy and some what skunked. A little sweet and bready as well. Slightly sweet grainy flavors. A decent amount of bitterness as well. Not too bad.
