Rich and sweet, but much hoppier than I expected it to be! I could really get comfortable with this one. Brown with a frothy cream colored head. Sweet malt, faint alcohol notes, and lots of hops on top.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown with a small beige head that leaves tight lace rings. Super hoppy aroma, not unlike their IPAs, with an underlying malt sweetness. A bit light in the body for style, almost like a smaller ASA. Also pretty dry, with big hop flavor and bitterness. Reminds me a bit of Bigfoot actually, could almost be a darker DIPA. The brown sugar adds a touch of flavor and if I’m correct, could be why the body is a bit light. Very drinkable, and you’ll feel it quick.
