MichaelPerch (47), Denmark Feb 16, 2008 My favorite of the beers in Holmegaard. Unfortunetly it isn’t to find anymore. But is was a real plesure. Thomas_E (4814), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 28, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Unclear deep amber colour with a small off white head. Light caramel sweet aroma with fruity and hoppy notes. Malty, caramel sweet flavor with a light fruity note. Hoppy, bitter and light sweet finish. yngwie (3342), Kristiansand, Norway Nov 12, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Almost clear service, brown color, and some off-white bubbles on top. As with the other beers I’ve had from Holmegaard, the aroma is quite weak. There’s caramel and some roasted malt, as well as a little note of hay. Caramel-sweet flavor, slighlty roasted, with a quite decent bitterness. Pineapple too, especially in the finish. Medium body. A bit boring maybe, but definately drinkable. Best so far. (071006) Enjoyit (1077), Vadum, Denmark Oct 21, 2007 Growler. Hazy amber of color with a beige head. An aroma of sweet malt, raisins and hops. A sweet flavor with hints of hops. Could be infected. yespr (5611), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 1, 2007 From tap at the brewpub, thanks to papoe for swinging by on the way home... :). Pours hazy brown/amber with light brown head. Slight fruity aroma with an underlying malt flavour. Subdued sweetness. Malty semi sweet finish. Nice balance.
