[thank you, myrup]
Pours deep brownish red with a big, frothy off-white head with a yellow hue. Aroma is mildly malty, light caramel, some prunes and very light chocolate. Light mouthfeel, a bit thin. Flavour is okay, quite typical bock character. Light toffee, caramel and a bit of chocolate. Quite a nice beer.

Medium/ful body. faroeviking (4066), Faroese Beer Republic union of, Denmark Jul 27, 2008 Draught as Holmegaard Bock. Red.brown colour. Roasty chocolate caramellic aroma. Fair mouthfeel. Soft pleasanr flavour of roasted malt and caramel, chocolate, mild bitter hops and a little spice. Maria (3899), Thisted, Denmark Jul 21, 2008 The color is beautiful, dark red-brown and the head is nice, and creamy. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and hints of vegetables. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, hints of licorice, light fruit and a slightly citrussy bitterness. I know that a bock is supposed to be sweet, but I prefer them just like this, medium sweet with room for hops too – so IMO it’s a nice bock! Skinnyviking (2402), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 14, 2008 Bottle. Low off-white and lasting head. Clear dark red almost black body. Weak roasted malt aroma and flavor with a bit of cocoa and caramel. Low carbonation, short aftertaste. Pinball (278), Allerød, Denmark Jun 12, 2008 holmegaar bock. licorice dominates flavor, but not enough to be a problem. brown sugar, good balance, aftertaste is sweet. great bew.
