Ungstrup (11035), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 11, 2008 Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of citrus, honey, and flowers. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks Myrup for sharing. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 22, 2007 (On tap) Hazy, amber golden with a white, lacing head. The aroma contains a little caramel while the Cascade doesn’t really shine through with the usual citrusy touch. Medium body with a solid malt base although a little more residual sweetness would be preferred by this rater. Dry and fairly hoppy finish - again I had hoped for more Cascade characteristics. 111107 yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 16, 2007 From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy golden orange and with a diminished white head. Fresh floral peach aroma, slight citric and sweet. Flavour starts with a clear peach domination and shows a mild sweetness before it dives into a nice bitterness in the finish. Nice. faroeviking (4124), Faroese Beer Republic union of, Denmark May 2, 2008 Botella. Hazy deep amber. soft sweet and fruity aroma. Bit sweet, fruity and malty flavour. Dry finish. Maria (3963), Thisted, Denmark Jul 21, 2008 Dark orange with an OK head, that leaves nice lacing. The aroma has notes of fruit, citrus (mostly oranges) and caramel. The flavour has fruity and citrussy hops that is nicely balanced by notes of malt and caramel. The flavour is smooth, pleasant and very charming.
