330ml bottle. Orange gold color. Small white foamy head, Aroma is biscut and malt, fruity and very sweet. A medium bodied bock. Malts are fruity and VERY sweet. Touches of grain and cereal. Fruity and sweet. Lots of apple flavor as well. No green bottle skunkiness. Hints of orange and a lot of residual sweetness. Perhaps a little too sweet. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is sweet.

Typical copper/gold/yellow lacking in the head department. Tasted as sweet as it smelled, with a little graininess to salvage some marks. Aftertaste was alright, too, but overall didn’t have a lot of character.

Can: Poured a golden color beer with below average head. Aroma is quite weak for a bock and only faint malt can be detected. Taste is very disappointing, kind of like a foul lager. Body is bit thin with some alcohol burn. Total lack of complexity in this beer.

A bock? It poured a golden yellow, the taste was crispy, light malt, a too sweet. Not good. Lucky I got to washed it off my palate with a Fullers London Porter.

Can. Golden yellow in colour. Aroma of very mild corn, slightly sweet, some alcohol. Flavour was malty, some floral hops Fizzy mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a light alcohol burn.

Medium/dark-gold brew with some darker highlights – quite interesting. Aromas of honey, cardboard and heavy alcohol. Nice, thick body. Taste is almost all alcohol, and leaves a bitter aftertaste. Not much substance, just a bully of a high-alcohol beer.

Nice honey-golden colour with minimal head. Aroma of grass and apples, with a strong alcohol note. Flavour starts malty and slightly fruity, with some dry hoppiness and boozy warmth in the finish. Not awful, but nothing I’ll go out of my way to drink again.

Mild malt aroma with some light spicy hops and some bubblegum. Hazy straw coloured body is inappropriate for style with shy white head that diminishes immediately to ring. Some bubblegum flavours, some fruitiness with light peppery hop spiciness in the finish. Rather sweet and a bit sticky. Medium-light body though somewhat still due to very low carbonation. Not very exciting and way out of style. Can (LCBO - Nov. 2004).
