0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 JesseM (918) - Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 18, 2008
I was really disappointed with this one. I wasn’t expecting much, but I was at least expecting something I could tolerate drinking. It couldn’t provide me with that. Tasted of fuel? 7% abv, yet the most prominent flavour is, ALCOHOL. What the hell. WASTE OF MONEY.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Contrucci (17) - CHILE - FEB 15, 2008
Nice color, better than taste. Pungent, picquant end in throat. Too much CO2. Good cost/value rate here in Chile.

Pours clear, deep gold. Aroma is corn with a slightly burned malt tinge and some alcohol. Almonds and rye / sourdough bread. Flavour is dominated by roasted malt. Alcohol is noticeable, along with faint hops. Dry finish with malt aftertaste.
2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 mgermani (932) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2007
Served in a green glass (sorry) but I think it was straw-yellow. Very short-lived head and an unremarkable aroma. Tastes of corn, skunky noble hops and lots of alcohol. Man, this thing doesn’t hide a single percentage of alcohol content. Thin and acidic, harsh and off. Overcarbonated. Ouch.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Canuckistani (41) - Dundas, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 27, 2007
Not my favourite beer, but I keep buying it. Bitter, heavy, with strong alcohol content.
Fruity, flowery overtones with a undercurrent of strong alcoholic content, with a bit of wine.
Much, much better than any North American macrobrewery
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 AWS9 (337) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 10, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2008 500 mL can. Re-rate as I’ve decided this stuff is pretty damn harsh and awful. 7% is the only excuse I can think of.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 JustinBathurst (134) - Corner Brook, Newfoundland, CANADA - NOV 4, 2007
Poured clear straw gold with a slight tan head.
Smells of cider, honey, and a floral/strawberry licorice.
Mouthfeel is watery and under-carbonated.
Taste? Well, aspirin. This beer was so astringent that I could barely make out anything else for around 10 minutes. Then I noticed some honey sweetness. Obviously, it’s hoppy, but it’s far too astringent to be enjoyable. However, you couldn’t detect the higher alcohol content. I’m not sure if that’s a plus or not.
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jnaos (11) - CANADA - NOV 2, 2007
mild sweet aroma; sweet flavor as well. for a strong beer, alcohol is faiulry well hidden by the flavour. lightly carbonated; slightly sweet mild finish
