Had a throat ache so wanted something light. The other Holstens I’ve had had really rough malt bills, so I wasn’t expecting much from this, but am pleasantly surprised. I think it’s how a nice Eurolager should taste. A LOT of green apple in this, no vegetal qualities to me, some straw but not at other German Lager levels, pretty bitter finish considering. Not bad at all! Very refreshing, light, and not too sweet.

Canette 500ml. De couleur dorée pâle et claire. Nez de maïs sucré, de grains de malt pâle avec des notes de houblon floral. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-doux ainsi qu’une texture aux notes huileuses. Goût de grains de malt pâle et légèrement croustillant lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un très léger goût de maïs sucré avec des traces de pain puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon floral aux petites notes herbeuses. Post-goût court, très légèrement amer de houblon floral aux notes herbeuses.
