Old Rating. Bottle. Dark Copper colour with a thin white head. A sweet, malty and fruity bitter with little hopping. Difficult to put more effort in to reviewing such an average beer.

As my Dad said, a treacle like flavour. Nutty, woody side to it. Not particularly to my taste but OK.

Aroma of cherries, has quite a warming taste and a dark colour which make it seem quite christmassy

Nutty, woody malt flavours. Toast. A dry treacly flavour too. Little thin for my liking.

Bottle at home. OK. Lovely dark brown colour with tan head. Deep roast aroma and a malty flavour. Little evidence of the advertised hoppiness. Full bodied and flat with a long finsh.

0.5 l bottle from K-Länsiväylä Jyväskylä, thanks hanniku!. Amber color. Sweetish aroma with nuts, resiny hops and orange. Sweetish, nutty, biscuity and mildly hoppy flavor with fruity and resiny hops and some bitterness in finish. Not completely fresh (BB March 2011).
