3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Álcool levinho no fundo. Retrogosto maltado, após um final agradável. Boa cerveja!

A bitter wich flavour resembles more to a brown ale, but with a strong astringent that claims its true origin.

Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Deep copper colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruits, some floral notes as well as wood and mild syrupy sweetness as well. Flavour is fruits, wood, some syrupy notes as well as caramel malts. Wellbalanced and rather nice. Gets better as it warms up a bit.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fruity malt aromas, Excellent rocky longlasting head with plenty of lace on top a chestnut beer. Mouthful of roast malts, fruit toffee and butterscotch, lots of fine bubbles and a nicely understated hop finish

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle served cellar cool in a chalice. Lovely tawny amber colour, with a good off-white head. Malty aroma, with a nice nutty toffee flavour, incorporating some rich tea biscuit. Medium bodied, slick texture, gentle carbonation. A little hop bitterness in the finish. For 99p at B&M, I wasnít expecting greatness, but this is one of those self-effacing English bitters that manages to be more than the sum of itís parts. Iím looking forward to the next one.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from morrisons. Aroma is spicey, slightly peppery good balance of pale biscuity malts and fruits. Taste is again a great balance of slightly richer malts than expected and floural hops. Nice one.
