Cask (handpump) at The Colonies, Westminster, May 2006. Standard amber bitter appearance. Surprisingly hoppy, with a fair amount of zesty zing, underpinned by a light, caramel malt character and some juicy fruit notes. Nothing particularly earth-shattering here but I was quite pleasantly surprised.

Clear medium orange color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, apple notes, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, overriped apple notes, old old nut notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100425]

Cask Handpump at the Ape & Apple, Manchester 25/04/2010 Fruity hop aroma. White head. Golden bronze coloured and fruity with a little bitterness and vegetable flavour. Slightly dry malt finish.

Light amber, with a light fresh hop, Light and fruity and really quite hoppy in flavour.
