2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 500ml (K-Kamppi, BB 12/2011, ABV 4.1%)
Clear amber color, small white head, some lace. Aroma has light honey and citrus. Light body. Flavor has some light citrusy hoppyness, but otherwise honey is dominating the flavor. Light palate. Although has honey in it, not overly sweet. Oily mouthfeel. Light lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Another pretty boring but clean golden ale.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled Pasteurised. Gold yellow, no head, no condition. A little honey with a flat vanilla background, thin malt and no hops. Part of the Tesco Bottled Beer campaign, surely there are better beers than this? Some lemon on the end but overall disappointing.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared with Lyoli. Pours a vibrant orange-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Malty aroma with some nutmeg or something and some orange hops. Very sweet, with maybe some sugary syrup, light bread, earth, orange citrus and flower bitterness. Light to medium in body with lively carbonation. A reasonably well balanced finish with very subtle clover honey, more bread and some further citrus hops. Not a terrible beer by any means.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle (K CM, Kamppi)
7 massively fruity aroma. Tons of apricots, some peach and even some cherry.
3 Mid orange, small head.
6 simple malty body, some honey, but loads of bitter hops.
3 Fairly watery palate, crisp carbonation. Bitter, but quite thin, finish.
13 Probably really good as a cask real ale as a summer quaffer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. An amber coloured beer with a sweetish aroma showing only hints of honey. The taste is also on the sweet side and a bit of orange comes through. The whole experience though is one of blandness and is watery. Obviously the judges of the Tesco Challenge are a bit challenged themselves.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden with no head. Aromas are sweet and gentle honey and spices - a bit bland. Flavours are smooth sweet malts. Buttery in such away that it slides over the taste buds without leaving any flavours behind. There are hints of citrus but they don’t have a great impact. I am very surprised that it won the Tesco Beer Challenge - its very mediocre.
