COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
2011 saw the introduction of our IPA, which has proved to be very popular in both Free Trade and the selected Joseph Holt pubs that stock it. Our IPA is a very pale, traditional, English ale with relatively high bitterness and a fragrant hop aroma. It is brewed with traditional East Kent Goldings and Slovenian Styrian Goldings.

Cask at the Ape & Apple, Manchester, England.
Clear deep golden colour with small creamy white head. Fruity hops with mild bitterness in aroma. Dark fruity bitterness combined with woody maltiness in flavour. Short bitterness in aftertaste.

Malty aroma with hints of hop. Watery but finishes nice and bitter. Small white head that stayed until the bottom. For £1.97 a pint this isn’t bad. nothing standout but a great summer drink.

Cask. Pale gold body with a steady cream head. Hoppy nose, lemons and lime. Thin in the mouth, but plenty of bitters. Lemon, lime, a hint of tangerine. Some heady malty backbone, keeping this drinkable. The malt helps keep the palate steady. Petering out into a wheat finish with a bitter tang.

Cask conditioned handpump Basketmakers Arms Brighton. A golden beer which poured with no head. A fairly sweet light bitter. A bit of citricity in there and some toffee. A light easy drinker but a total misnomer.
