Cask (handpump) at the Three Guineas, Reading, 25 June 2009. Clear dark amber colour. Loose white head. Quite tangy hop presence. Touch of lingering bitterness. A standard UK session bitter - not a lot of substance but quite drinkable.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2012 On handpull in Preston. Clear dark amber colour with a white head. Light toffe aroma and medium fruity, with some hopps in the nose. Medium bitter flavour with some fruity undertones. Decent standard british bitter.

Cask at bow bar ... copper ... thin creamy head ... sweet toffee nose ... light dry hop ... bit blah... no real character

Handpulled cask at the Crown. Horwich.. Amber with a creamy white head and a credit crunch busting price of £1.50 a pint. Light and bitter with thin body that goes with its low strength. Ok but I suspect it is just a watered down version of the standard bitter.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. An amber coloured beer with an off-white ring of bubbles. The aroma has caramel and toffee with a little berry fruit. The taste is pretty non-descript. Thin and boring.

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2004
Amber, thin beer which has a gentle malty taste and obvious high-alpha hop use which makes the tongue feel like it’s been toothbrushed. Not my kind of beer. (Cask in Holt’s Brewery Tap, Manchester)
