Bottle from dad picked up at Morrisons Mid amber pour, sweetness and malt are the key notes on the nose. Tasted really decent if a little sweet, good malty full bodied little number, not too much bitterness and hops whilst there were lacking slightly I felt, still I rather enjoyed this.

Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised from Morrisons, Banbury. Reddish amber with white head. Quite carbonated but nevertheless a reasonable, fuller flavoured bitter. Sweetish fruity malt notes with a touch of pine leaf, some toffee and a reasonable hoppy finish. iíve definitely had worse.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Typical clean, pasteurised bottled British bitter. Some faint dusty hops, lacking in freshness. Artificial fizz. Pasteurised barley sugar flavour. Clean, lacking in character. Hints of cardboard. Itís drinkable. If you pay little attention itís OK. But there are cheap lagers which are less offensive than this.

Bottle from local indy, pours a golden brown with a white head, some malt on the nose, leads onto a jammy malt flavour, tastes a little cloying but not in a bad way. Finishes with some dryness, maybe even with some citrus orange towards the end

Bottle. Brown beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly toffee and hopped and the flavour is dry with a large toffee aspect. Overall a reasonable roasted and dry beer.

berkshirejohn (4209) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2007
500 ml bottle - apparently "Silver Medal Winner, Munich 2005, Brewing Industry International Awards". golden with a white head, moderate carbonation; jammy sweet smell due to pasteurisation. Tart, almost eye-watering, flavour, then apple sweetness and an acidic enamel-stripping finish. Leaves the mouth feeling sticky - but no hint of maple anywhere.

Maria (9963) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 3, 2007
Dark golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and maple syrup, and itís full-bodied and well balanced just like the flavour, that has some sweetness, notes of caramel, syrup and a light citrussy bitterness. A really nice one!

harrisoni (12676) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2007
500ml bottle, Booths. Pale chestnut colour with thin beige head. Faint sherberty hop aroma, some candy sugar and tehn sherberty hop finish. Cascade hops are really quite nice. Grapefruity. Oh dear, the pasteurisation neuters the malt. Hops are good though.
