500ml Bottle from Morrisons (£1.59):
Sweet, biscuit malts and sugar, it is also very bitter on the nose. There is a definite fruit base with cherries and some strongish caramel.
Caramel amber with a clear body and a thumb sized, dome shaped, foamy white head that reduces in size only slightly.
Caramel & biscuit malts with a strong bitter undercurrent and lots of darker fruits. There is some some cherries and sugar with a touch of hops and maple too. Sweet and bitter finish.
Smooth, medium and moderate carbonation. Goes down well and seems stronger than it is.Quite creamy feeling.

Sweet and seemed stronger than the 4.8% abv. on the label. I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would with the dark fruits and sugar working well with the bitterness. It was a pleasant tipple.

I like maple syrup so as it isn’t overpowering I will always buy this occasionally. Easily available due to it being a local brewery

Copper coloured bitter, no head. Has a mild fruit character which coupled with its smoothness in the palate makes for a very pleasant ale.

500ml bottle. Pours clear copper with thin creamy head. Aroma of malt and ozone. Light toffee apple flavours. Malt and bitterness well balanced with a distinct sweetness throughout. Perhaps a touch too sweet, but very enjoyable.

Bottle shared with hubby. Amber in colour, low and steady head. Aroma of fresh hay, caramel and biscuits. Thick, creamy texture combined with the taste of dark honey, roasted nuts and caramel. Great one.
