Bottle in Manchester. Well balanced beer, and the added maple syrup gives a nice twist. Feels like some mint and spices, too. Some bitterness in the finish, long lingering bittersweet tail.

Bottle from Morrisons, nice clear golden colour, thinnish head. On the palate & nose this is nowt but an average easy drinking beer. There’s no discernible maple character (for me anyway!) a bit disappointing!

Dark orange - amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts and nuts. Flavour has caramel malts and maple. Slightly dry finish.

Quite nice smooth bitter. Very well balanced between bitter and sweet, hop and spice components. Herbal and especially wood notes. Some fruits also detected beside spices and traces of tobacco. Caramel-fruity smell. Creamy texture. Medium-lively carbonation. Very drinkable.

Lots of woody and sweet smells consistent with maple syrup. Feels great in the mouth. not too sweet. some floral bitterness just a slightly too short finish.

Aroma has some woody notes in the background and lots of sweet malt. Smooth texture. Long lasting flavour full of warming malt. Full bodied. Great taste.

Bottle. A clear amber beer in appearance with an ample-sized, bubbly white head. The delicate hint of maple can be detected at times, moreso in the aroma. Other aromas include a light caramel note and a burnt malt undertone. In the flavour department, Maplemoon offers a sweet and malty character with a light hay-like bitterness on a medium body with an even mouthfeel.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear amber, rich creamy head. Predominantly caramelly nose with some hay, maple syrup and paper. Light to medium bodied with dense, rounded mouthfeel. The hay-like hops turns to salty bitterness in the finish. A mid-intensity, rather streamlined beer with just a slight note of maple syrup.

Bottle 500ml. from Waitrose, Christchurch. Pours amber with off white head. Aroma has malty overtone. However, when it comes to taste, maple syrup is very prominent. A bit too sweet and syrupy for me. More of a novelty beer than a session beer.
