Bottle, Morrisons, West Kirby. Guess what ? its maple syrup coloured, and its flat and unfinishable. Sweetish bildge. Not a pleasant experience. Down the sink with ya !

Bottle from Morrisons. Pours amber with off-white head. Could taste maple along with plenty of malt and hops. Nice for a pasteurised beer.

Slightly metallic nose. Pours rich amber with a firm, tan head. Flavour is refreshing, with a reasonable hoppy bitterness/malty sweetness balance. Don’t get any maple at all. More metallic note in the finish unfortunately, but ok over all.

Bottled. An amber coloured beer with a short lived off-white head. An earthy English best bitter with some sweet syrupy notes in the aroma. Don’t get Cascade or maple in the taste. Instead some nettly hop. Not bad, especially for a pasteurized bottle from a regional.

Bottle at my new local The Three Crowns watching United. Not that impressed really but wasn’t horrible. Darkish amber, thin head that went almost instantly. Yep, slight maple flavour but a bit burnt and tobacco type flavour and smell. Could do better.
