2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled, 500ml from Morrisons, Banbury. Orange gold with slight head. Pasteurisation note at the start, boiled sweets type flavour, some caramel sweetness, some caramelised malts. Dries out later on for hints of bitterness and an earthy flavour. Just ok.

Bottle ( clear ) Golden and quite heavily pasteurized which has probably destroyed some flavours. Slightly hoppy with a bitter finish. This won a regional contest -how?

2.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange with thin head. Nothing sticking out aroma wise
Smells like beer! Perhaps slight hint of citrus. Tastes fruity, like Jolly Rancher sweets, bit of a floral note and some citrus. Keep thinking there’s perhaps a touch of biscuit lurking as well. Flavours are too low key and a bit watery to be really interesting but not the worst beer and perfectly drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear golden beer with a thick, frothy head and a light, fruit and malt aroma. It looks a little too lively but it’s actually only a mild, pleasant fizz on the tongue. The flavour is fruit with a slightly sour edge though it’s not unpleasant for it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle - pretty ordinary beer, a golden body, gone-in-sixty-seconds white fizzy head, and yes, there is a bit of citrus in there. But by the time I’d finished it, I’d not noticed any good or bad features.
