3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From bottle while in Fort Lauderdale, pours a nice orange/brown. Not typically a big fusion fan but the trippel/saison caught my eye immediately. I have to say, I am very pleasantly surprised. This is quite nice and unique. Perfect for later in the football season, late autumn, cooler weather. Wish I could get this back home in OK.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Local craft beer from south florida, 10% alcohol but it hides it well. Very fruity overall and it overwhelms the belgian wheats. Interesting beer but not for me.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A: Amber/Orangish Hue, Passes Lots of Light, Very Little Head, No Lacing
S: Belgian Sugar, Tropical Fruits
T: Nectarine, Papaya, Pineapple, Belgian Sugars
M: Mild Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Sweet, Cloying
Overall, for a triple/saison, it is way too sweet. This is a good beer for a fruit beer lover but very one dimensional.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is an amber with a small white head. Aroma is candi sugar with a molasses with almost a peppery hint. Flavor is also decent with a lot of candi sugar and molasses. Aftertaste lingers

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear orange copper, off white cover. Seems dark if it is meant as a tripel. Odd aroma, spicy, some bits of apparent Belgian yeast are covered up by alcohol, tinny malt. Taste is again spicy, apparent alcohol, some caramlized sugar notes, otherwise a bit bland if strong.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is dominated by floral notes and phenolic spices. The spices are coriander, clove and anise. The floral note is lavender and yarrow. The aroma is so strong it seems almost artificial and drowns out everything else. A slight citrus aroma is present behind the flowers and spice.
Pours a slightly cloudy copper with a hint of orange. Moderately thick, fairly large, slightly off white head that steadily recedes.
Flavor is ridiculously sweet upfront with tons of honey. Mid palate the sweetness sort of dies down but the honey ramps up. Spice notes are moderate but oddly enough make the sweetness even worse; sugar coated coriander sound good to anyone? The flavor has a definite oxidative quality to it while being very much under attenuated; is this beer 10% or were they attempting to hit 10%? Light bitterness helps a bit to balance out the sweetness but not enough. An odd, off flavor in the finish, not infection but perhaps rotten vegetables.
Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Way too sweet and not dry enough for the style.
Overall this is one of the worst beers I have had in awhile. It is just so sweet and under attenuated. It also has the honey note and rotten vegetable character working against it. The aroma is too one dimensional. I hope my sink is thirsty.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2013 An alright saison. Not much in the nose though. Sweet, refreshing, and great on a hot Saturday.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Total Wine in Boca Raton, FL. Tulip. Thick head disappears quickly. Belgian style orange-brown pour with significant haze. Aroma is very sweet fruits with yeasts, malts and bread. The taste is primarily sweet fruits such as apricot, apples, pears and tangerines. You get the Belgian yeast but not as predominant as many Belgian Strong Ales. The hops are fairly mild but they seem to balance the malts fairly well. Hard to tell it is a 10% abv. Didn’t seem boozy at all. Mouth is very smooth with a fruity aftertaste. Very good for a Belgian.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs; thanks burg326). Looks solid; a semi-transparent brownish-orange with off-white head that dissipates into lacing fairly quickly. Smells of Belgian yeast, spices, and some caramel. Tastes like it smells with a smooth mouthfeel. Not bad, and dangerously drinkable for the abv.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle via Hopscotch and served in tulip: Pours Clean deep golden hue with a nice lasting head and good lace. The aroma has notes of honey, ripened apples, ginger, biscuit grains and bubblegummy Belgian yeast esters. The taste is quite fruity and yeast driven with cotton candy and candied apples overtones. Some caramel and biscuit along with a dash of spicy hops. Does get a touch overly sweet as it warms but the some more alcohol also shows up. The mouth feel is lightly sticky and sharp. Overall I solid brew but I am glad it is only a 12 ounce bottle for I am pretty sure I would not more than that.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a murky amber with a large foam head. Nose is caramel, yeast, raisins. Taste is caramel, dark dried fruits, raisins, dates. Palate is both sprightly and at athe same time reminiscent of old English leather armchairs. Quite odd.
