Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs; thanks burg326). Looks solid; a semi-transparent brownish-orange with off-white head that dissipates into lacing fairly quickly. Smells of Belgian yeast, spices, and some caramel. Tastes like it smells with a smooth mouthfeel. Not bad, and dangerously drinkable for the abv.

Bottle via Hopscotch and served in tulip: Pours Clean deep golden hue with a nice lasting head and good lace. The aroma has notes of honey, ripened apples, ginger, biscuit grains and bubblegummy Belgian yeast esters. The taste is quite fruity and yeast driven with cotton candy and candied apples overtones. Some caramel and biscuit along with a dash of spicy hops. Does get a touch overly sweet as it warms but the some more alcohol also shows up. The mouth feel is lightly sticky and sharp. Overall I solid brew but I am glad it is only a 12 ounce bottle for I am pretty sure I would not more than that.

Pours a murky amber with a large foam head. Nose is caramel, yeast, raisins. Taste is caramel, dark dried fruits, raisins, dates. Palate is both sprightly and at athe same time reminiscent of old English leather armchairs. Quite odd.

Hazy darker orange yellow with small white foam head. Aroma is little hoppy with some fruit tones. Taste is quite flat, difficult to tell, little fruit, some alcohol. Little aftertaste. (Velp 201303)

Bottle. Pours a reddish orange color with a soapy white grass. Aroma is raisin, dates, candy sugar, booze. Taste is a but boozy and syrupy. Nothing spacial.

Pours a light amber with no head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and raw sugar as well as dates/raisins. Taste is sweet, heavy alcohol, Belgian yeast, figs/raisins and raw sugar. Syrupy sweet and high alcohol presence make this a sipper.

Pours amber with a thin tan mostly receding head. Notes of caramelized wort, overripe fruit, spice, cherry. Full bodied and sticky sweet with soft carbonation. Overly sweet and syrupy.

Sweet malty Belgian aromas. Pound cake with nutty fruit flavors. Overall a very good Belgian style beer.

Copper colored beer with a white head. Smells of sweet toffee, and something nutty. Tastes of caramel, sweet malts, earthy/nutty/woody flavors, candy sugar, and some brown sugar. Sweet, semi-boozy finish. Very different for the style, but in a good way. High ABV is hidden quite well, a bit syrupy on the mouth feel with some cloying sweetness. I enjoyed this one.
