Sep 23, 2008 Bottled. Poured clear medium golden with a short-lived cap of white head and plenty of rising carbonation. The aroma picked up sweet honeysuckle and bready pils malts with a light, dry, spicy yeast impression surrounding.. the sweetness seemed a tad syrupy and artificial. The flavor opened with thick honey and pale malt sweetness laced with sour woody and medicinal notes and peppery yeast.. quite warm on the back and finish. Medium-bodied but it felt a little thicker on the palate.. I got an intriguing kick of light fruits just after the finish.. interesting, but unrefined

Sep 22, 2008 Got this in Panama City Beach. Funky. Very cloudy and yellow. Had an almost spicy taste to it as well. Am I the only one that tasted black licorice??? Definitely has character.

Sep 21, 2008 12 oz bottle courtesy of daknole (thanks). Pours a dark gold color with a small off-white head that soon fades to nothing. The aroma is moderate in strength with banana esters, biscuit and a whiff of alcohol. The flavor had great deal of ripe sweet fruits; pears, berries and apples--set in a yeasty biscuit backdrop. The mouthfeel was full and malty. The finish was long and semi-sweet. Overall: A very tasty brew, much enjoyed here.

Sep 12, 2008 2008 bottle. Pours a clear gold with good white head. Sweet banana and belgian yeast aroma. Some alcohol on the finish. Was better from memory. Aging would be good.

Sep 7, 2008 Aroma is sweet, yeasty, a bit of cooked vegetible that is probably not DMS, but a wheaty, yeasty combination that comes off that way.
Fairly light colored, head doesn’t linger well despite wheat malt.
Taste is pear, apple, more yeast, some hoppiness.
Finish is slick and buttery, full, but distracting.
A lot of flaws in this one.
Decent.

Sep 7, 2008 Pours a very light yellow in color. Not a whole lot of head on the pour, but plenty of carbonation. Smell is almost "lagerish". Completely not what I was expecting. Taste was a little off as well. Some hops were present in the taste. Very thin on the mouthfeel. A little tough to finish.
