It’s unclear dark golden with a creamy white head. The aroma has notes of yeast, banana and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, clove, wheat and banana, and the finish is spicy- quite nice!

At Papsoe’s pre CPH Beer Fest tasting, cheers Henrik! Cloudy amber beer, semi dry palate. Reasonable carbonation. Some citrus and a mild wheaty finish. Ok.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of banana and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of banana, wheat, and oranges, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is light, but the beer is very refreshing.

Bottled 330ml. -from beerangel.de shared with Doggythedog. Murky/orange coloured, medium sized white head, banana and cloves in the nose. Wheaty, lactic and fruity with notes of cloves and yeast. Touch of acidity in the finish. A bit thinner than Schweiger Schmankerl Weisse but also very nice weizen.

Bottle from beerangel.de, shared with ogivlado.Poured an opaque apricot juice like colour with a medium sized white head that took its time to go away. The nose is dominated by cloves and some banana. Sweet malty wheaty taste, lactic, some banana, maybe some cloves. Fresh tasting but a bit light. Chalky again, very nicely balanced. Whoa, both Weissbiers that we’ve had so far from the package turned out to be very good for the style (I’m not counting Erdinger Leicht really). This one might lack some body and complexity but there are many worse of its kind.

Bottle 50 cl. Hazy and opaque golden with a rough, white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast and banana. Medium body, yeast and a little overripe fruit with a tart edge of lemon. Dry finish. 140509

Pale yellow-golden colour with medium-size off-white head.
Toffee/caramel aroma with citrus, bubblegum and some yeast. Surprisingly grainy malty (lagery) for a Hefeweizen. Some fruity and wheaty notes though.
