UPDATED: APR 19, 2015 Bottle 33cl. Yellow with a very tiny white head that fades quite quickly. Aroma is not very special, like pilsner with mild hints of hops and malts. The taste is a bit like pilsner too, only the bitterness up front is stronger because of the use of the American hops.

33 cl. bottle @ Tapperij de Zwijger, Houten. Pours amber with a white head. Mango and citrus in the aroma. Slightly boozy taste which is strange considering this is only 6 % ABV. Nice subdued bitterness in the finish.

33cl bottle - Appearance: Is a slightly unclear amber color, with a full sized white head o more the 2 fingers. Retention is quite good and it leaves minor lacing. Aroma: malts, some hops(citrus & grass), a bit of yeast. Taste: malts, some citruss and grass hops again, and a quite good hop bitterness. Moderate sweet . Medium body and powerfull sparkling carbonation which is slightly too much.

Bottle @ De La Gare. Slightly unclear amber color, full sized white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, some hops. Taste malts, some hops again, more bitterness than I had expected, a hint of sweetness. Quite firm carbonation, medium body.

caesar (5595) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - SEP 19, 2014
Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 06 2015, large sample, served in a tulip glass. Clear golden to orange color, big frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrussy and grassy hop. slight spicy yeast, pineapple, tannines from the malt (what else from Sallandse). Quite dry in taste, bit metallic, slight bitter, bit sweet, pineapple. Way too dry and way too much carbonation. Sparkling, but not crisp. The carbonation in combination with the bitterness gives it a sharp feel. American bitterhops together with saison yeast and dryness aint a winner.
