| A Mead brewed by Honey Moon Bellingham, Washington USA

shigadeyo (1332), Southwest Ohio Area, Ohio, USA Sep 13, 2007 Pacific Northwest Vacation 2007
9/01/2007: Honey Moon Cyser is a clear plate yellow (maybe a shade darker than the Honey Moon CiderHead with a fleeting white veil. The aroma is delicate apple balanced with light honey. The flavor is very much like the Honey Moon CiderHead with a dollup of honey in it. Actually, the honey sweetness is up front and then there is a dry, apple-flavored finish. Even though this one has 3% more alcohol than the CiderHead, it is not noticeable in the flavor. This Cyser has a light to medium-light body and is lightly carbonated. I preferred the Honey Moon Cyser over the plain CiderHead.
Draft sample (8.9% ABV, Seasonal production, 200 gal batch released Fall 2005) enjoyed at the Honey Moon Tasting Room in Bellingham, Washington. Rating #1 for this cider...
