COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mead is enjoyed by those who have learned the subtleties of mead and can savour the extremely discreet honey notes and pleasant almond aftertaste. Best served chilled with game, red meats and curries. A sociable after dinner drink that will assist the consumer in solving the worlds problems (in theory)!

Sweet sour aromas, with a clear light golden color, Flavors of honey, sour citrus and flowers, mild palate with a slight stickiness. My first mead - so I guess I thought it was pretty good.

May 2007 - I have no idea how to rate meads. Immensely floral aroma...honeysuckle flowers. Very flowery taste of honeysuckle. Not overly sweet...I prefer this to the sickly sweet Apis Japwidgeakaeeka (however you spell it), but I couldn’t drink too much of this.

This bottled mead from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a and a poor lacing. The aroma was honey. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The thick flavor contained notes of honey and was dry. An OK mead just nothing special.

This didn’t make the cut for me. I like meads, preferably sweet ones, but also a few dry ones. This wasn’t pleasant. The expected honey color with no head was there but the aroma was off-putting. Funky in a negative way. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavor was unappealing.

Still new to this mead thing - this one aint too bad. Golden-honey color. Aroma is sweet with some honey and light grape. Flavor has a nice honey flavor but leans toward a the white wine side a little too much, as would be expected with a dry mead. Mouthfeel really improves the longer you drink it - nice mead.

I’d call this semi-dry; not what I look for in a mead, but that’s subjective. It tasted kind of like a white wine.

750 ml bottle. Bottle lists the alcohol content as 12%. Pours a crystal clear gold with no head and no carbonation. Strong aroma of honey and flowers. Beautiful aroma. The honey flavor is initially a bit sharp. It reminds me a bit of buckwheat honey, which has a strong flavor. Definitely sweet and bordering on being cloying. An aggresive mead for those that like strong honey flavors.
