Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy honey, alcohol, dusty coffee, light to moderate wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, coffee beans. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat. [20120323]

Bottled, thanks fiulijn. Pours clear pale amber, no head. Distinct coffee aromas comes through amongst honey and dry white wine. Rather slender and citric. Mint, orange, blueberries and coffee - tangerines and white wine in a slightly warming finish. Nicely drinkable mead.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear amber without head. Aroma is sweet honey and coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Medium sweet and light bitter finish. 300312

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. No head. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are coffee, honey and alcohol. Odd combination but works well. Spicy finish.

Bottle @ AA-Meeting, Western Denmark 2012. Pours clear amber with bubbles on top. Fresh coffee bean, vague honey and alcohol. Slick and oily. Fits.. Tasty.

the aroma is decent with the coffee coming through without many other tendencies. the taste is funky and acidic but the honey and coffee hides it pretty well but not completely. the coffee is constant but it leaves a funk at he end.

The aroma has coffee and wild honey with an acid funkiness. The appearance is amber brown with no head. The taste is like the aroma with the coffee being the strongest. The palate is watery thin. Overall this is an interesting mead.

Pours a nice amberish gold hue. Aroma of fresh coffee, nothing else really come through. The flavor is very coffee forward. Very earthy with something strange going on that I just can’t quite put my finger on. Different. Really enjoy their Chili mead, this one not soo much.
