500ml unfiltered bottle, bought at Kent beer festival. Straw colour. Fairly dry for a Kentish cider made from eating apples, but not tannic in the way of West Country ciders. There is, however, a distinct woody, almost steely, structure. Clean and slightly sharp finish. Aroma is indistinct, with little farmhouse in evidence. A bit short of flavour maybe but pleasant enough. Doesn’t show of its 7.5% alcohol too obviously.
