Honey dominated aroma with cherry accents. Ruby brown, almost cola colored, still. Black cherry flavor is much more in the forefront. Medium bodied, not syrupy.Alcohol is tastefully present. Very well done.

Deep red colo, almost fake looking. Aroma is sweet honey and slight cherry, flavor is more cherry juice than honey. This isn’t as heavy as empire mead and a lot heavier than redstone, so basically I tihnk it’s perfectly balanced in the middle. Plus, when mixed with champagne, it’s even better. Bottle from Total Wine and More.

15 DEC 07, Southeast YeHa. 750ml clear white zinfandel bottle. Pours clear red. Smells like a standard mead. Rubbery. Flavor is sweet, kinda a bit reminiscent of Robotussin in the finish.

Ruby red color with a very sweet aroma of sweeter cherries, honey, and a bit of spice. Flavor is cherry dominant with some honey sweetness and a fruity finish. Decent mouthfeel that makes for a nice dessert, although its a tad simple and allows more alcohol flavor to peek through than I feel is ideal.

A dark read apperance with no head present. It smells like honey and cherries. The flavor is syrupy with the cherry flavor really standing out. Very little honey is showing through. This should have come in a box!

Pours a clear still bright ruby red with thin legs. Aroma of rich, earthy fruity strawberries and black cherries with a touch of honey. Body starts sweet and tart with some nice fruity and honey complexity. Finishes slightly warming and sweettart. Good cherry flavor throughout is a pretty unique mead.

Honey and Cherries, what a combo. The pairing brings a feeling of childhood familiarity. The cherry flavor is a blast form the past.

The aroma is cherries and honey with some funky wine like elements (cork). The appearance is red and still. The flavor is like the aroma and hot with alcohol. The palate is thin and oily. Overall drinkable but that’s about it.
