Draft at East End Brewery, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. Not as hoppy as the Too Sew Brew, this was just like a regular-bodied ale, and was OK. Coulda been maltier.

Small off white head. Clear amber body. No real aroma. Dry-sweet resiny mealy taste with floral notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish minty resiny aftertaste with floral notes. Nice, but brewpub-y. (0.5l draft at Hong Kong Brewhouse, Hong Kong.)

Aroma of malts and fruitiness. Has a nice pillow of creamy head and a good orange-copper body. Flavour is nice malts with some sweet grain notes. A bit of a weak mouthfeel. Slightly above average.

On tap at the brewpub in Central. Pours pale amber with a lacing head. Honeyish aroma followed by good honey and crisp itterness. A bit watery. Not bad, inspired by the Honey Dew?

Coppery gold deep color with stable, thick off-white head. Brisque hoppy aroma is dark leaves, bitter herbs. Fresh. Soft palate with thin watery finish. Fresh flavors are fruity, dry finish. If it had a better body would be a really good beer.

Oakes (10196) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 25, 2009
Bright bronze. Slightly woody aroma is, as with the Too Soo, a little bit funky. Has a light cascade palate - fresh and fruity with a little bit of woody, resiny bitterness.

alagnak (467) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - OCT 1, 2009
Draft @ East End brewery in Causeway Bay. Smell is subdued malt and a touch of caramel and spicy brown sugar. Flavor is creamy english pale with light hops and an off-putting metallic tang. The metallic lessens as it warms. Drinkable and way above average for the local stuff.

pours a orangeish with a small beige head, and okay lacing. smell is earthy, some caramel, some malt, and a touch of spice. taste is creamy, some pine, light on the hops, ends a little dry and slightly bitter.

Amber in color with minimal head. Aroma is malty, light hops, and some spice. Flavor is definitly English Pale Ale. Malty, a touch of earth tones, lightly crisp hops, and spices. While i was a bit dissapointed in this brew it was easy to drink, and the "two for one" happy hour special made everything alright. (Draught at East End/Inn Side Out)
