austinpowers (2824), New York, New York, USA Apr 13, 2008 Draft at East End Brewery, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. Nicely done - not hoppy at all and somewhat sweet. Not too fizzy. An enjoyable, yellow-colored lager.
asedzie (410), San Francisco, California, USA May 23, 2007 Sampled in HK. 330 ml bottle Bubbly white head quickly disappears leaving some lacing. Nice aroma! Smell is peppery hops, a little soapy, with a trace of malt. Doughy and wholesome, hop flavor is noticeable - grassy, passionfruit and light bitterness. Pretty assertive for a pale lager - also, some sweetness and clove. I am a total cheerleader for this beer - real hops and real malt, well done. Jukkabro (2307), Tampere, Finland Dec 12, 2006 Yellow colored, little white head. Strongly estery aroma with some hoppy tones. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor has some floral hops and sweet fruits, some sour touch and carbonated palate also there. Carbonation lasts in aftertaste. TBone (4566), Pori, Finland Dec 10, 2006 Bottled 4,7%.
Pale yellow color, mostly vanishing head. Grainy, cardboardish aroma. Slightly grassy, malty, quite American (not German) feeling here (Brooklyn lager!). Finish is cardboardish, which lowers the points. oh6gdx (4952), Vaasa, Finland Dec 10, 2006 Bottled (thanks omhper!). Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is a real haybomb. Flavour is hay, hops and slight malts. Very dry cartboardish aftertaste.
