500ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, German beer days 2007) Very rich red and thick creamy doughy head. Both malty and hoppy aroma, more sweet malt then the other components. Very full bodied malty taste, pleasant carbonation. Long malty finish.

Es bildet sich wenig Schaum der aber einigermaßen gut hält, optisch sehr schön, dunkler Körper! Es schmeckt röstmalzig, etwas hopfig und malzig-süß auch Kaffeeähnliche Aromen sind vorhanden. Fazit: Ordentlich! Test vom 24.3.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,11,12,11,12 - 11,65

Maria (8588) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2011
It’s a beautiful mahogany-red beer with a creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and a hint of syrup. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of roated malt, caramel, light licorice and hints of nuts, and the finish is slightly dry.

pivnizub (7240) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUL 9, 2008
Bottle: Deep amber coloured, stable and lacy beige head; shy dry roast-malty aromas in the light dark-malty nose; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; cacao-powder in the dryish-malty finish. More a Schwarzbier than a Dunkel, absolutely not too sweet.........

(screw cap bottle) Clear, auburn colour with a dense mid-sized beige foamy head. Moderately sweet toast-malty nose, slightly grainy with a whiff of citrus and herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, hearty toast-malty taste with distinctive notes of caramel and a bit of burnt sugar that linger into the malt-accented finish. Pleasant Franconian Dunkel (20.05.08).
