Bottle. Golden. Smells like a bock, with pale malts and some light alcohol-tinged fruitiness. Has a light fruitiness and more alcohol than many other bocks of the region.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Golden to copper color. Sweet malty, toffeish and honeyish aroma with sulfur. Malt, bready and honeyish flavor with dryer fruity-herbal finish .Nice mellow brew with enough deepness.

Bottle. Bright orange, rather honey color actually. And the aroma too, is so sweet it smells honeyed in a simplistic way. Not a bad smell, just rather sweet, fruity, almost meadlike but certainly signalling bock. There is a slight bit of paper in the aroma. Body is smooth throughout, and quite clean although flavors linger long. The malt character is solid, it’s fruity and fresh tasting. Although it’s not a hoppy bock, it finishes dry and crisp so it’s balanced. Doesn’t seem hot but does feel heavy as a bock. Overall I’m finding this one quite nice.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear golden with a white head. Very solid malty aroma with a floral hoppiness. Solid body with a gigantic malt base and again floral touches. Rather bitter finish. 220308

Papsoe’s tasting. Pours gold with white head. Aroma of biscuity malts mainly. Taste is similar with not much else going on, unfortunately. Average mouthfeel and light maltiness on the finish. Wouldn’t have guessed an ABV that high though.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with light notes of alcohol and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and honey, leading to a dry bitter finish. The alcohol bites slightly in the mouth.
