(bottle) pours a clear golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of milk chocolate, oranges and herbal hops, slightly metallic, with a hint of apple juice. flavour is mostly the same, quite fruity, with notes of bubble gum and physalis, even slightly perfumed, with a hint of butter and a light-bitter herbal-hoppy finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Flasche aus einem REWE-Getränkemarkt in Bamberg. - Goldgelb, klar.

Bottle. Golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, faint grassy hoppyness. Light to medium, malty and sweetish flavor, light caramel and faint grassy hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish, faint caramel and light grassy hoppyness. Sweetish pils - OK but could use more hoppyness.

Draft at the brewery in Nov. 2013: Dull and simple nose of hard lemon candy, hay, fennel seed and a hint of alcohol. Subdued carbonation softly prickles. Firmly hoppy and mildly spicy with a pronounced Spalt punch yielding to a slippery fruitiness. Pils malt is somewhat grainy and raspy as it lends a deeply toasted hat accent amid a muted grassy hop twang. Hint of flowers, as well. Finishes soft and maltcentric, with restrained Spalt and some grainy malt. Pretty straightforward to me. Malt is a tad sloppy and doesn’t seem all that skillfully extracted, and the hops aren’t very dynamic or vital. Middle of the road.

Bottle from a REWE in Bamberg. Golden in colour with a slight, white, head and trace of carbonation. A crisp pils, with some fruity sweetness and lengthy, bitter, finish. Good.

Bottle: Pale golden, clear, visible carbonation, small creamy and stable head; grainy-dusty nose with a tinge of pale sweet malt; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, soft, smooth MF; dry bitter-sweet finish with a hoppy, but also metallic touch. O.K, not so convincing...........
