Commercial Description:
This beer has a golden color and promient hop flavor provided by numerous hop additions during the boil and dry hopping in the kegs. The supportive malt flavors and body make this ale a great multi-dimensional beer. The IBU level is 63.

Bomber poured clear copper with thin tan head. The aroma was a bit light with sugary and roasted malts mixed with mild grapefruit hops, faint spice hops and a dash of pine. The taste is a quick bolt of sugary malts followed by fresh grapefruit hop bitterness. The hops soon become floral and spicy as roasted malts surface and take the flavor into the finish. A lingering mild bitterness, biscuit and caramel malts float for a while into the after taste. It ends a bit thin.

22. No infection! Yay Hood Canal! Clean Beer! Rock on with your fancy selves! Pours dark coppery amber with a slim white rim of sudsy fluff. Lightly sour orange pith nose with plenty of pine counterpoint. Light, almost watery body, and a bit undercarbed. Sweet orange and pine on the mid-palate, with a nice long resinous finish. Not too shabby. Nice to see them stepping up.

Bottle. Hazy copper hue. Nice hop aroma - strong but not overpowering for an IPA. Definite orange smell with dough hints. Bright, upfront flavor with mild bitter aftertaste. Moderate carbonation.

On tap at the Crabhouse in Port Angeles. Light fruity nose, with apricot nectar and sweet biscuit. Hazy, almost cloudy, amber-orange with foamy lacing off-white head. Medium bodied with mild-medium carbonation. Starts with biscuit and caramelized sugar. Apricot nectar and orange oil. Fresh fruity hops that finish with medium bitterness. Sweet bitter after.

Draft at Crabshck Restaurant, Port Angeles, WA; nose of lowery and citrus hops; Hazy copper with a medium, lomg-lasting, glass-lacing off white head; body was medium with hop bitterness and light sweet caramel for balance with some hops lasting to the finish.

A deep amber color with a nice head. This had a great aroma of hops and was awesome to finally smell. It had been weeks since I had a great IPA. Had a deep hop flavor and the malts where subtle and good. This had some great flavors and was a true awesome find. Tad bitter in the finish this was still a good brew.

Nice, textbook, looking IPA. Nice malty backbone with a nice compliment of floral, citrusy hop essence - albeit very small hoppiness. Fresh wood and nut wisps as well. A tad bland but extremely well balanced and put-together IPA.

On tap at the brewery. Fruity on the nose, a bit sweet. Cross between amber, and copper in color, unique. Great sweet mouthfeel with the taste of grapefruit, and honeydew melon. Nice, lightly bitter hoppy aftertase. Worth the time to drink.
