3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Elwood (1978) - Leesburg, USA - MAR 23, 2009
12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber brown. Sizeable creamy off white head. Roasted malt, caramel, and something I can’t quite place in the background. Grass? Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel. Has a good roasted character to it with caramel, nut, and just a hint of bitterness on the palate. It goes down smooth with a hint of roasted malt left behind. Very drinkable and pretty good, but it makes me want to give their brown ale a try!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 tone77 (167) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 23, 2012
Has a dark amber color. Smell is malty, slightly sweet. Taste is also big on malts, some sweetness, very refreshing. Overall a good quality beer.

Whenever I drink a new beer, and do not have a computer available to me, I rate it on my iPod, and then come back and catalog it on the website. I drank this one 8 days ago, and forgot I had it in my system. So apparently I was not a fan.

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a light brown color with no head and no aroma at all, the taste is very sweet with some hints of malt and touches of fruit to it but is very minimal, extremely boring and just not good, I wish I would have skipped on this mix pack.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 JK (3509) - Uptown, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 26, 2010
Light brown color. Very light flavor and aroma, just a little sweet malt. Nothing here really. Thin, watery palate.

Bottle; poured a brown/dark amber color with not much off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, fruit, caramel and maybe the faintest touch of roasted malt. Flavor was bland but ok; swet malt, fruit, earth and maybe nuts. Ok, but forgettable.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Damico (1405) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2010
The aroma has roasty malts, some smokiness, and a hint of vanilla. The appearance really shows both black and amber color mixed. The flavor is a bit bland with sweet notes, maltiness coming through the most.

Black and tan? Not sure how. Pour is red with white head, aroma is sweet caramel and a bit of roasted malt. Taste up front is sweet caramel and biscuity malt, leading into a tiny roast with a sweet finish. Okay, but not great.

I poured this beer in to a pint glass to drink. It had a dark amber color with a big creamy tan head that had good cling and average retention. The aroma featured caramel malt and some earthy and grainy hops. The taste was sweet and malty with some light bitterness too. The beer was wet and a bit creamy with low carbonation, and fairly smooth and thin.

Pours copper with a tan head. Smells fruity and caramelly. Tastes of caramel, some earthy hints, some light fruit.
