Hook and Ladder IPA

Had on tap at Lucky’s Sports Bar in Springfield, VA. Pours an orange-gold with a big hop aroma. Flavor is more sweet than I expected and hop taste is not even Sierra Nevada quality. Gimmicky in my opinion, no special flavors to make this worth drinking.

Bottle from Epps. Pours dark straw with off-white head. Aroma has a solid amount of hops, plus caramel malt, and some spiciness. Medium palate with a hoppy and spicy flavor coupled with a decent caramel malt backbone.
