Hook Norton Beefys Bitter (Cask)

Cask at Bedford BF ’06. Dark gold with a small white head. Intense sweet fruit and floral hop aroma. Sweet taste is followed by a fruitiness and some bitterness to finish.

Cask conditioned at The Olde Reinedeer, Banbury, Oxon. Full brown gold with white bubbly head. Aroma of newly mown hay and earthy fields. Hoppy bitterness throughout this beer, long and dry and refreshing. Malty biscuity base and green fresh hops, there is a grapefruit citrus feel to the flavour. Ends with a roar rather than a whimper. A very decent pint indeed.
