3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a broken bubbly white head. The aroma is weak malt. The flavour is light bitter with a watery malt light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with flat carbonation. Not overly impressed. No life and not a lot of flavour with a weak palate.

A worthy effort from Hook Norton. Light brown with a citrus aroma and quite a bitter aftertaste. Available all year round now. Not in my top ten but much better than average. Worth seeking out. Sampled at the Blue Stoops,Chesterfield.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at Hook Norton Brewery. Gentle, but fresh and insistent. A very pleasant beer - which, as Iíve already said, tastes fresh and, indeed, is fresh - so presumably that is the reason for the overriding impression of freshness. Pleasant (Iíve already said that too). Also fresh, which I think I have covered elsewhere. Brother in law drove me to the lovely brewery. Tawny gold beer. Itís a Bitter. Lee Trevino. Fresh.

Cask at The Fountain Inn, Gloucester. Lagery straw taste, very mild with faint glimpses of citrus hops. Not getting much else from this.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Gravity dispense at the CPFC beer festival, 2013. Gold pour with a white head. Marmalade, citrus aroma. Soft fruit action. Flavours of... looks like something in cuneiform script- damn my scrawl! Apart from the mystery flavour it also has a splash of caramel and citrus in there. Fresh tasting. Not bad.
