500ml bottle. Pours almost opaque with a dark, thin crema-like head that disappears quickly. Mild malty aroma. Sweet toast and spice, followed by malty caramel and a mild bitter finish. Smooth and rich without being too heavy, the sweetness, bitterness and malt are in perfect balance to produce an excellent well rounded beer. This is delicious and definitely one to have again.

dark brown colour, huge, dense, stable beige head; aroma and taste of ash, some coffee, maybe cocoa and fruity notes - correct stout - though it would be great to know, why it is named as "Double Stout"

Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy but stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and coffee, with notes of caramel and roast. Bitter, roasty flavor, with notes of coffee and malt, and touches of caramel and hints of hops. Lingering, bitter and roasty aftertaste. A well-balanced and really nice Stout.

Bright head, milky layers. Black brown body. Aroma; textile fibres, earth, old milk, cocoa. Taste; dry chocolate, prunes, plums, roasted dark caramel malts. Smooth green’ish on palate. Finishes chocolate’ish with some bitter notes. Acceptable, though unvaried. Easy sipper. [50cl. brown british btl. 4.8%abv. kindly shared at RatingSession@Finn w Rune]
