A well balanced golden bitter, dry and malty on the palate. Hoppy bitterness in aroma and taste. Winner of a Silver Medal in the 1996 Brewery Industry International Awards.

very good, not too mild but not strong enough to have a couple while hanging with friends. aroma smells a little funky but the taste works very well.

The aroma is malty with biscuits nuts and toffee. The appearance is golden amber with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin but smooth. Overall it’s good.

Bottle shared with the Dev guys, thanks Death w a K! Gold pour with some head. Grassy and earthy notes with some yeast. Decent on the pallet, crisp with a tinge of bitters on the finish, a little bland.

Bottle shared by "Death with a K" and the other Devonshire dudes. Very nice bitter. A bit too grassy in the taste for me. Had that easy drinker feel that I love SO much from a "bitter" or "ESB". Nice Palate. Had the English malt vibe going that also makes a bitter for me.Overall a nice little bitter. Not the best and not the worst.

(England) Courtesy of Death with a K, Thanks Keath. Pours a golden color with a sm-white head. The taste is very mild with some grassy notes, I was looking for some of that bitterness (M.I.A) Anyway, not quite my style, but very drinkable.

Bottle shared by Keath last night with the Devonshire boys. For only being 3.6% abv this had a lot of complexity. Earthy and grassy flavor, maybe a hint of cinnamon. Smooth and finished clean. Quite a nice session beer.

Appearance: Copper brown, not much head. Aroma: Malt and fruit. Taste: Nice and malty, not that bitter. Quite sweet. Info: 500ml bottle, 8/10-2007

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light to medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly to moderately hoppy (apricot, orange), lightly yeasty (dough, sweat). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Kinda lame yeast strain (stinky feet-ish). Watery, thin, simple. Eh.
