While drinking the beer, the grainy backing of the malt is vaguely reminiscent of a pale lager, but the dry toastiness and lightly roasted nuttiness in the forefront and gentle fruitiness in the background give this beer greater depth and pleasant, lasting flavor. Dry, nutty, and slightly fruity nose. Light-medium body with soft carbonation. Golden-amber in color with perfect clarity. Small, off-white head settles to a thin ring. A nice session ale with a flavor profile that won’t distract you from your conversation. Palidor19 (1772), Brandon, Florida, USA

A bit too grassy in the taste for me. Had that easy drinker feel that I love SO much from a "bitter" or "ESB". Nice Palate. Had the English malt vibe going that also makes a bitter for me.Overall a nice little bitter. Not the best and not the worst. BeerGestapo (738), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA

For only being 3.6% abv this had a lot of complexity. Earthy and grassy flavor, maybe a hint of cinnamon. Smooth and finished clean. Quite a nice session beer. azlondon (662), Fribourg, Switzerland
