AskForJenny (627), Ontario, New York, USA Jun 20, 2008 0.5l - Golden liquid, mild rush of small bubbles, no real head, sweet and woody nose, limp palate, nothing that interesting about it, mild hops at end. Tiring. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jun 17, 2008 Light copper body with a slightly off white khaki head. The aroma was like fresh oranges and pecans. There is a strong malty backbone here. A dry mouthfeel is complemented with some bitter orange peels and apple core. There is a nice slight almond shell finish. Softly carbonated, this is nicely made for a session brew. joekinty (263), rockledge, Florida, USA Jun 8, 2008 ill go completely out on a limb on this one this id an absolutly great session beer not to hoppy not to malty great balance much bettter flavor than any american session beer give it a try very good argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Jun 6, 2008 (50cl bottle) Crystal clear light amber body topped by medium off-white head. A reasonable session beer. PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA May 19, 2008 Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse, 500 ml bottle. Medium copper colored pour with a thin but persistent white head. Fresh lake water aroma, hints of grain, not very pronounced. Decent subtle bitterness with some muted fruity notes. Peaches, nectarines come to mind. Hints of muted spices as well. Slightly stinging mouthfeel. At 3.6 abv - would make a good lunchtime companion or a session bitter. LouieDog40oz (28), Germantown, Maryland, USA May 17, 2008 Taste like piss but could be because my friend had my try it after a tommyknockers imperial nut brown beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA May 14, 2008 Well balance bitter, hops were crisp with a citrus and lightly earthy quality. Fruity malt flavors soft doughy sweetness. Pours clear golden color with a soft white head. Well balanced and sessionable. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Apr 18, 2008 Nice pour, a clear golden amber body with a foamy head. Pretty much no lace. The aroma is a light, sweet toffee with soft floral and herbal hops. The sweet malts and bitter hops are well balanced throughout the drink, although the floral/grassy bitterness increases in the end. The finish is dry with a prolonged, moderate earthy bitterness. Nice sessionable ale.
