A dry bitter. This is an interesting combination of flavors. Worth giving it a shot. Not one of my fav's, but worth a try.

Bottle courtesy my buddy Ian. pours a straw gold with thin white head. Malty aroma with hints of some bitter hops. Light malty taste with just a hint of hop bite. Nice little session ale.

Rating is for bottled version, but at least it's packaged in brown glass. Lightly hoppy and fruity aroma, a bit of toasty malt sweetness as well, perhaps a bit of musty wood?. Light golden amber color, clear, with a very fine, diminishing head. Fruity, hoppy, citric, lightly floral profile, with a light malty sweetness throughout. Finish is lemony and has a bitter tingle. Refreshing.

Pours clear golden / orange with a tan head. The aroma has dry caramel malt, crackers, dough and a hint of butterscotch. Medium body that is a bit slick then there is a lot of carbonation. The flavor starts with dry biscuits with a bit of caramel, some spicy hops and is on the watery side. The finish is like lightly sweetened spiced crackers. Fair.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse, 500 ml bottle. Medium copper colored pour with a thin but persistent white head. Fresh lake water aroma, hints of grain, not very pronounced. Decent subtle bitterness with some muted fruity notes. Peaches, nectarines come to mind. Hints of muted spices as well. Slightly stinging mouthfeel. At 3.6 abv - would make a good lunchtime companion or a session bitter.

An amber beer with a bubbly and disappearing head. The aroma is slightly hoppy. The flavor is malty, somewhat flowery. It ends on a dry woodyness and a bitterness, that lingers. It is very drinkable, but not special in any way.

Sampled on 6/5/2009. This bitter pours a medium orange gold color from a 50cl bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with good retention. The aroma is malty, flowery and hoppy. A medium bodied bitter. The malts are caramel and fruity. The hops are floral and earthy. Nice carbonation. The hops seem a little more pronounced in this beer when compared to most other English Bitters I’ve tried. Mouthfeel is a touch thin, but kind of expected for a 3.6% beer. Would be a good session beer. Mouthfeel is round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle. Clear amber with a bif off-white head. Grassy and flowery hop aromas with notes of fruity caramel. Flavours emphasize fruit and even a touch of nuts. Some bitterness to offset the sweet malts. Light-bodied. Easy-drinking.
