imdownthepub (3737), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Sep 10, 2006 Bottled, pasteurised. Pale gold with lasting white head. Light and fruity golden ale, thirst quenching with a lasting bitterness on the close. Citrus and hops on the close, very nice on a warm september afternoon. Bottle from the Brewery. kempicus (136), Wellington, New Zealand Nov 10, 2007 Fruity nose with a very crisp zesty flavour, not quite as good as cask but as i’ve said before, it’s a fine substitute for haymaker my favourite hook norton beer maeib (3714), Wootton, Northampton, England Aug 20, 2006 Bottled. A pale golden coloured beer with alight off-white coloured head. The aroma is nicely fruity and hoppy with orange notes. Quite welcoming and inviting. The taste also has good hops, again orange fruits are present. A decent bottled beer. henrikb (1000), Aarhus, Denmark Nov 2, 2006 Clear golden body with a white head; Small but very nice nose, balanced mix of hop and malt, with very fine oine aromas behind; Fine sparkle in a slight bitter balanced body; Long finish with notes of pine, apple, malt, bitter, balanced and well made. Cornfield (4216), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA May 7, 2008 This poured a clear golden body with a three-fingered head that lasted pretty well for the duration. Spotty lacing. The aroma was full of floral hops with a soft pine undertone covering some honey sweetened malts. the "American pizzazz" of the commercial description reveals itself in the increase of hoppy (pine/floral/herbal/citric) bitterness in the flavor that’s well balanced by the sweet, grainy, bready malts. The finish is a refreshing pine and floral bitterness that lingers for some time. Nice drink for the upcoming warmer weather. <font size=-4> West Lakeview Liquors, Chicago, IL<font size=-1>
