Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 25, 2007 Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A hazy golden beer with a thick light orange head. The aroma is sweet flowery, combined with light notes of peaches, on a light malty back ground. The flavor is sweet and very flowery and with strong notes of peaches, leading to a dry and lightly bitter end. The body is a bit thin, but it is a very drinkable beer. yespr (6361), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 20, 2007 From cask at charlies. Pours clear yellow with a little white head. Mild peach fruity aroma. Flavour holds a smooth fruity peach note and a mellow sweetness. Finish holds a nice mellow sweetness to the fruity hops. Quite refreshing. oh6gdx (5901), Vaasa, Finland Aug 31, 2007 Cask@GBBF2007. Deep golden colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is bigtime flowery and fruity hops. Flavour is malts, some hops and slight nuts and mild grassyness. Aftertaste is quite earthy and mildly hoppy. Rastacouere (5270), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 23, 2007 Clearish golden yellow. The fine head is of a pure white colour and quite sticky. Well developed, if subtle, sandy, earthy golden ale that feels like a ray of sun. Firm grassy and floral bitterness that lasts for a long time after swallowing. Sharp mineral attributes, bready yeastiness. Mellow acidity. Fine medium body with soft bubbles reaches ideal balance between pleasurability and drinkability. Fine. harrisoni (5130), Ashford, Kent, England Jan 28, 2008 Cask handpull at Wetherspoons, Folkestone. Well it’s gold, thin white bubbly head. It’s a faintly malty, faintly hoppy beer. Nice enough. Citrus orangey fruity flavours. Drinkable and quite likeable. Doesn’t exactly excite, but definitely drinkable.
