Bottled. Pasteurised.
A well balanced and full bodied beer demonstrating fruitiness, with the Crystal Malt content being distinctive. The hoppy mouth gives way to a sweeter finish.

500ml bottle. BB 06 Jun 14. Pours a medium, orange-copper colour with 2 fingers of light beige head which disappears fairly quickly. Malty aroma with toffee and marmalade. Lightly carbonated, medium bodied. Low to medium malty sweetness and medium bitterness. A dry bitter finish with a hint of lingering malty nuttiness.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2014 Pleasant, fairly full body malty beer with good amount of bitterness, small amount of fruitiness (raisins) little hops, nice fruity and slight cigar aroma, but. Like this beer and Pretty good option for the price I paid in Oz at $3 for one 500ml, which is cheaper than mainstream Aussie lagers and much better.

Unusual beer, tasted a lot like unfermented malt extract to me. I did drink this after the sublime Coopers Vintage ale so my taste buds were spoilt with excellence.

Once again a nice and fruity surprise. Wonderful raisins all the way with a bit of rum in the back. Definitely to recommend.

Pours out of the bottle in a deep light brown colour with steady low head and smooth body. Aroma of rum and bread. Taste of rum, prunes, plums, mild hops, barley and flowers. Flowery finish with rum hints. Really nice one.

If there’s a beer that I have an enduring affection for, it is ESB. It reminds me of my ancestry, and somehow drinking it just feels right. This one is a good example: on the rosy copper side of golden with an enduring thick cream coloured head that lasted to the bottom of the glass. It smells of fruity malts and gentle woody hoppiness, but dominated by that cracked malt aroma that is quite delicious. It puts me in mind of Bakewell Tart with its fruitiness and sweet pastry character. A taste reveals those same flavours with a lovely balance of bitterness and sweet malt with both enduring. I just want more... can I have more? Please?

Rating #932, flaske fra svigerfars køleskab. Gylden øl med dårligt skum. Mild duft af karamel og malt. Smagen er præget af solbær, karamel og malt og ender i en solid bitterhed. Rimeligt tyk og blød i munden.
